Actor Monsuru Ijayegbemi Opens Up on Financial Struggles and Family Hardship

In an interview with Feelrightnews TV, Ijayegbemi recounted how a colleague disappeared with money he had borrowed to produce a movie, worsening his financial troubles. He also mentioned that after producing a movie in 2000, the marketer refused to pay him, pushing him to the brink of quitting filmmaking.

He said:
“I borrowed one of my colleagues money to produce a movie, and when it was time to collect my money from him, he absconded with the money. I produced a movie in the year 2000, and when it was sold out, the marketer did not give me any money, and from that moment, I started thinking of quitting filmmaking because I was frustrated. I ran away from the house and left my wife and kids when I couldn’t pay our house rent. I later returned to the house when my wife called me that she found a means to pay the house rent.”
