BBNaija S9: “Beauty still outshines Phyna despite early disqualification,” says Wanni

Wanni, a contestant from Season 9 of Big Brother Naija, has stated that although Beauty Tukura was disqualified in the second week of the 2022 ‘Level Up’ season, she has still outshone Phyna, the season’s winner, in terms of success.

In a conversation with male housemates on Sunday night, Wanni stated that only Sheggz and Bella from Season 7 are on the same level as Beauty.

She pointed out that although Beauty was disqualified early due to violent behavior—such as threatening Ilebaye and using her wig to hit her boyfriend at a party—she has since excelled, recently securing an endorsement deal.

Wanni emphasized that even Phyna, the winner of that season, has not matched Beauty’s level of success.

In her words: “They [organisers] disqualified her [Beauty] the second week but she’s one of the most successful apart from Bella and Sheggz. She’s doing good. She’s just bagged an endorsement deal.

“They disqualified her because of violence. She dey hot o! There’s one day Ilebaye did something, she removed her cap and threatened to beat her. Then her boyfriend danced with somebody else at the party and she used her wig to flogged him. And you know, physical violence is not allowed in Biggie’s house. So they disqualified her.

“She was disqualified two weeks but she’s one of the most successful people from her set. Even the winner [Phyna] is not as successful as she is.”

Recall that Wanni X Handi won the Custodian Challenge on Sunday night, granting them the ability to influence this week’s nominations and eviction, and granting them immunity from eviction this week.
