It seems as though Wizkid can not just get enough of Shallipopi’s latest release ‘Ex-convict’ of his six tracks E.P. titled Planet Pluto, as a new video has surfaced on social media showing just how much the Grammy award-winning singer likes the latest release from the Evian crooner.

Wiz was spotted in the club alongside DJ Tunez, singing along to the viral song and doing the dance introduced by Shalli for the song.

This is not the first time Wiz would show the world just how much he likes Shallipopi’s Ex-convict as the singer shared an image of him streaming the song on the digital streaming platform Apple Music.

The popular song, Ex-convict, was born from a personal experience that the singer had to endure as he was arrested and detained by the Economic Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) in Kaduna in May 2023. The experience was a turning point for him and an experience he got into the song.

The arrest of the singer was confirmed by the EFCC Spokesperson, Wilson Uwujaren, in a statement that read, “Others are Adewale Adedokun, Yakubu Ojochememi, Abdul-Azeez Suleiman, Umoru AbdulAzeez, Emmanuel Iwebo, Shuaibu Smart, Joel Kator, Gowon Titus, Emmanuel Daniel, Enough Ekpo, Atano Eben, Ijuo Ochi, Paul Kaye, Uyit Victor and David Yachai. Also arrested are Leche Sokomba, Onoja Uroko, Cornelius Agbodesi, Edigim Success, Azubuike Oniya, Usman Shereef, Victory Chiemela, Lambert Chikwado, Asoore Oloruntoba and Malik Jibril. They were arrested following actionable intelligence about a proposed show by suspected Internet fraudsters at Barnawa, Kaduna.”
