He recounted a conversation with a medical doctor who had shared a tragic experience about a professor they both knew. “I had given him one of my books while we were on a flight together,” Pastor Ibiyeomie began. “A few days later, I asked the doctor about the professor, and he said, ‘He’s gone.'”

Pastor Ibiyeomie used this story to emphasize the need for vigilance, faith, and proactive health measures, encouraging his congregation to trust in God’s healing power and to seek medical attention promptly if any symptoms arise.

According to him, “A medical doctor once told me about a professor we both knew. I had given him one of my books while we were on a flight together. A few days later, I asked the doctor about the professor, and he said, “He’s gone.” I was shocked. The professor had stage-four cancer, and it was only discovered at that stage. Satan just moved the disease rapidly through the stages without detection.”
