As the 67th Grammy Awards approach in 2025, fans are buzzing about the nominees list, which is packed with Nigerian stars. Heavyweights like Davido, Wizkid, Yemi Alade, Tems, Asake, and Lojay dominate the Best African Music Performance category, while last year’s winner, South African star Tyla, is surprisingly absent.

Rema, signed to Mavin Records, earned a nomination for Best Global Music Album, while Tems snagged multiple nominations, including Best R&B Performance for “Burning” and Best Global Music Album for Born in the Wild.
