The star-studded event, attended by numerous celebrities, took a negative turn when Mercy Aigbe realized that her two phones were missing. Reports indicate that the phones were in the care of her assistant before they disappeared. In a video circulating online, a visibly upset Aigbe was seen confronting her assistant about the loss.

During the event, Iyabo Ojo made a public plea, urging anyone who found the phones to return them. She sweetened the appeal by offering a financial reward for their recovery.

“Please, we are looking for phones. Did you help us see them? If anyone sees a phone that isn’t theirs, I beg you to return it. I will personally give you money. Two phones, locate me, and I will give you money,” Iyabo Ojo said.

The incident has sparked a wave of reactions on social media, with many expressing sympathy for Mercy Aigbe. Some, however, criticized her assistant for being negligent.
