Lucky Udu’s Attempt to Clear His Name

In an audio message shared with Verydarkman, Udu recounted his effort to appear on the podcast to address allegations made by GehGeh, which he claims damaged his reputation. However, his interaction with Nedu took an unexpected turn when he finally got on a call with the OAP, only to be dismissed outright.

Nedu’s Alleged Conditions for Podcast Appearance

According to Udu, Nedu initially offered him a chance to appear on the show but only if he agreed to confront GehGeh live on air. Udu declined, stating that he did not want to encourage toxic behavior.

The biggest shock for him, however, was when Nedu allegedly insisted that their conversation should never be shared with anyone, which Udu perceived as an intimidating demand.

Lucky Udu’s Statement

“You remember that period when people said ‘if Lucky Udu post you, your own don go?’ I lost a lot of opportunities, brands dissociated from me, and my manager suggested going to The Honest Bunch Podcast.

Eventually, we got on a call with Nedu and immediately, he said, ‘He doesn’t know me, has never seen my content before, and doesn’t care about anything I do.’ He saw what GehGeh said about my platform, went through it, and concluded that everything GehGeh said was true.

He said I should just humble myself, that he is inviting me to the podcast and should be on my way to Lagos because GehGeh is also coming on the show. He wanted me to use that opportunity to challenge GehGeh live, but I turned it down because I don’t want to encourage bad behavior.

He spoke rudely to me and said many things. He told me this conversation must not get into anybody’s ear. He said I should bury my face in shame and come to the podcast to clear the air. He warned that I wouldn’t like him if I ever shared our encounter with anybody.”

As the controversy surrounding The Honest Bunch Podcast continues, Lucky Udu’s revelations have added more fuel to the ongoing debate.
