Despite stuttering over the N605 billion figure, the governor continued with his address, detailing the breakdown of the budget. N223 billion (37%) was allocated for recurrent expenditures, while N381 billion (63%) was designated for capital projects.Governor Okpebholo emphasized that the budget was the result of extensive consultations and aligned with his administration’s five-point agenda: Security, Infrastructural Development, Healthcare, Food Sufficiency, and Education.The presentation reflects his administration’s dedication to driving Edo State’s growth and development despite the initial stumble.
