During a live TikTok conversation with Yoruba actor Abiola Kazeem, also known as Jigan, Oloba Salo revealed the scars from the gunshot injury and shared how it has impacted his life.

Salo explained that he was shot in the stomach by attackers who intended to harm him severely. He expressed gratitude for surviving the ordeal, crediting God for sparing his life. However, the injury has left him reliant on crutches for mobility.

In his words:

“I was shot in my stomach. God didn’t let me end up like you, but I’m now using crutches. If I end up like you, it’s still not bad. What matters is that I can walk.”

Reacting humorously, actor Jigan welcomed Oloba Salo to what he jokingly called “his club,” where they would now share a similar walking challenge.

Jigan said:

“I didn’t know it was this bad. They want to make you look like me. At least I won’t be the only one walking like this anymore. Welcome to the club!”
