Timaya recalled telling 2Baba about Portable when they were on their way to Delta State, mentioning that the emerging artistās raw and unfiltered style felt familiar. He noted, āWhen Portable came out, I told 2face, āHave you heard that guy, Zazu Zeh? That guy is just like me because I was crazy back then.āā
Reflecting on his past, Timaya admitted that many Gen Z fans arenāt aware of his earlier wild side. He described himself as āhot like fireā during his rise to fame, attributing his then-chaotic behavior to a deliberate strategy. Now, Timaya sees growth in himself, contrasting his current calm demeanor with his past.
Meanwhile, Portable remains in the spotlight for his recent altercation at Felabration, where he was seen hitting a man in a video shared by a social media critic, VeryDarkMan (VDM). VDM condemned Portableās actions and warned him against assaulting others. In response, Portable fired back, asserting his toughness and challenging VDM to inquire about his reputation in Abuja and Lagos. He justified the incident, claiming the man had repeatedly taken payments for shows without delivering.
