Apostle Johnson Suleman Reveals 3 Ways A Person Shouldn’t Die
A recent video on YouTube, Apostle Johnson Suleman delivered a powerful message on the importance of living a life that culminates in an honorable death, urging believers to avoid lives cut short by misfortune or evil schemes. Citing 2 Samuel 3:32-34, Apostle Suleman reflected on the death of Abner, a respected military leader who was killed in a dishonorable way. “David said concerning one of his chief soldiers, ‘How come Abner died like a fool dies? His hands were not tied, his feet were not bound,’” Suleman preached. “How come Abner, a general in the army, was killed in a manner befitting a chicken?” Suleman emphasized that such a death was avoidable and warned that it is dishonorable to die by accident, violence, or poisoning.
According to him, “There is a way by which you must not die. In 2 Samuel 3, if you read verses 32, 33, and—34, David said concerning one of his chief soldiers, ‘How come Abner died like a fool dies? His hands were not tied, his feet were not bound.’ How come Abner, a general in the army, was killed in a manner befitting a chicken? So, he said, ‘How come Abner died like a fool?’ Sir, it is dishonorable to die by accident; it is horrible to die by a gunshot; it is dishonorable to die by poison.”
“In Numbers 23:10, Moses said, Let me die the death of the righteous. What is the death of the righteous? A death of honor. That was the kind of death Jacob had; he sat on his bed in old age, gathered his children, advised them, told them what to do and what not to do, and he slept. That is honorable—not dying to the wishes of your enemy, not dying by satanic agenda, not dying through disease.”
