Arrested Drug Dealer Claims Two Women and Five Men with Him Were His Customers

The police command shared the update on its Facebook page, identifying the suspect as Ibrahim Aliyu, 30 years old. Aliyu and the seven others were apprehended by Minna Area Command operatives after receiving credible information regarding the sale of illegal drugs in the vicinity.

The command stated that information led police to the Angwan-Daji area of Minna, where a group was reportedly seen using various illegal drugs around 1:00 a.m. This prompted a police raid near the vigilante office, resulting in the arrest of Aliyu and the seven others.In a statement, the command noted, “During interrogation, Ibrahim Aliyu confessed to dealing drugs in the area and claimed he was a vigilante member, carrying a double-barrel gun.

He added that the others arrested were his customers and could not provide a reasonable explanation for being at that location so late.”Police reported that items recovered at the time of arrest included a double-barrel gun, knives, suspected Indian hemp, face masks, and other illegal drugs.

The suspects have reportedly provided additional information to the police and are expected to face charges in court once the investigation concludes.
