According to reports, the deceased student was carrying a substance suspected to be an Improvised Explosive Device (IED) when it detonated. The explosion injured other students nearby and caused widespread pandemonium at the school. A security source revealed that the affected students had only recently been admitted to the school, having resumed classes on January 3, 2025.

Emergency responders rushed the injured students to a nearby hospital, where they are currently receiving medical attention. Meanwhile, authorities have commenced an investigation to determine the origin of the suspected IED and how it came into the possession of the deceased student. The identity of the deceased has yet to be disclosed, pending notification of their family.
