China Deploys High-Speed RoboCop for Law Enforcement, Capable of Pursuing Criminals at 21mph (Video)

China has introduced advanced AI-powered spherical robots designed to assist law enforcement by patrolling “Robocop” streets and pursuing suspects at high speeds. These futuristic devices, developed by Logon Technology, can operate on both land and water, withstanding up to four tonnes of impact damage. ...CONTINUE READING>>>

The RT-G “bobby balls,” spotted patrolling alongside human officers, feature facial recognition technology to identify known criminals and detect disturbances. Equipped with net guns, tear gas sprayers, grenades, and sound wave dispersal systems, these bots can apprehend suspects by firing nets or disabling them with advanced tools.

In promotional footage, the spheres are seen chasing criminals, knocking them down, and utilizing their arsenal to maintain order.

China has also deployed robo-dogs, developed by Deep Robotics, designed to navigate extreme weather, slopes, and obstacles, further advancing its use of AI in law enforcement.

This cutting-edge technology echoes the premise of the 1987 sci-fi film RoboCop, where a cyborg officer combats crime.
