Delta Police PRO Responds After Local Government Chairman Deploys Bulldozer to Clear Kidnappers’ Hideout

The post featured images of a bulldozer clearing a large section of forest along Uvwiamuge-Agbarho Road, which has reportedly been a hotspot for kidnapping activity. Chairman Egbo, accompanied by other officials, supervised the clearing as part of an ongoing anti-crime effort.
The Ughelli North Local Government captioned the post, “Ughelli North Council Chairman, Olorogun Jaro Egbo, takes bold action against crime. Massive clearing operation underway along Uvwiamuge-Agbarho Road that has been a hub for kidnapping.”
In response, Edafe praised the effort on his X account, calling it “a very good proactive policing strategy” and thanked the council chairman for his decisive action.
This operation is part of a broader initiative by the Delta State Police Command to crack down on kidnapping and other criminal activities across the state, resulting in multiple arrests and prosecutions.
