Dr. Olukoya Warns Believers: Lacking God’s Power Puts You in Spiritual Danger

Speaking to members, Dr. Olukoya warned, “If you don’t carry the power of God, you are as good as dead.”

He explained that the absence of God’s power in a believer’s life leaves them vulnerable to attacks, both spiritual and physical. “I have seen believers slapped with charms, and decay started,” he recounted, emphasizing the peril of spiritual weakness.

Dr. Olukoya stressed that having God’s power is not optional but essential for survival. He likened it to a “backlight” that illuminates a believer’s path and shields them from the wickedness that pervades the world. “The Bible says the whole world lies in wickedness. Without power, you cannot escape its grip,” he said.

He further highlighted that the lack of God’s power results in unnecessary struggles and defeats. “When there is power, there is no struggle. But where there is no power, there will always be struggling,” he explained.

Dr. Olukoya urged believers to stop making excuses or blaming others for their predicaments, describing such behavior as a defense mechanism for powerlessness. He concluded with a prayerful warning: “May you not learn in a hard way that you cannot survive without the power of God in your life.”
