Fuel Subsidy: We Now Buy Fuel At Almost N250 A Liter And, In Some Places, Even N300 A Liter – Uche Nwosu

Nwosus said Nigeria needs more refineries like Aliko Dangote’s while speaking with newsmen on the phone, adding that it will stifle the elimination or non-elimination of fuel subsidies because there will be more fuel for export and consumption.

According to him, “You know one of the problems we always have in this country is that whenever there is politics, we Nigerians use it to diminish some of these goods. Whether we like it or not, few people have the money for that. feed all the people, provide infrastructure, education, and other necessary things. CONTINUE READING>>>

“These are things we no longer need in this country. We now buy fuel at almost N250 a liter and, in some places, even N300 a liter. And they say if they take away the fuel subsidy, it’s pretty much the same thing. What is a fuel subsidy? The fuel subsidy means that all the money that goes to private individuals does not go to them.

“Among all, fuel subsidy or not, more Dangote refineries are coming to this country. If we have 3 or 4 more refineries, I bet we won’t be talking about fuel subsidies. There is enough fuel for export and consumption. It’s the right call; it’s overdue.”

Nwosu expressed optimism about Tinubu’s administration, noting that he has a good vision for the country and is capable of leading Nigeria.
