He disclosed that he overheard Nyesom Wike, the former governor of Rivers State, yesterday asserting that the Senate should be divided south-south.

The Northerners can also declare they want the Senate presidency to be designated to the North, according to Hakeem Baba-Ahmed, if he should be saying so. According to him, competency rather than zoning is the problem.

“I don’t know whose northerners you’re talking about who are always making a case for the interests of the North,” he asserted. In the interest of Nigeria, we argue our cases. Nothing is wrong with that. I witnessed the former governor Wike stating, “Bring the Senate presidency to the south,” as he sat regal in a chair yesterday.

What’s wrong with the North stating we want the third spot to belong to the North if someone like Gov.

Wike can say that? Whom should we ask? is a question that the North’s business perpetually poses. fellow than fellow northerners, who should speak up for the North?
