The Former President of Nigeria made this announcement known to the public while delivering a speech as a keynote speaker at a National Daily Awards in Lagos, where he warned Nigerians that they should be blamed if the country doesn’t live up to its standards.

According to Olusegun Obasanjo, he said, “The world referred to Nigeria, as a giant in the sun, not even a giant in Africa when the then prime minister went to the United Kingdom after the country’s Independence”.

He also added by saying, “I have come to understand that stability, security and peace are necessary conditions for a country’s development and no country can become great without fairness, equity and justice”. CONTINUE READING>>>
