Kenneth Okonkwo: If You’re an Actor Who Doesn’t Want to Hug Women, Step Aside; That’s Part of the Job

In a recent video, legal practitioner Kenneth Okonkwo commended Rivers State Governor Siminalayi Fubara for his determination to conduct the local government elections, despite the withdrawal of police officers by the Inspector General of Police, Kayode Egbetokun. Drawing an analogy, Okonkwo compared Fubara’s courage to that of an actor who must fully commit to their role, saying, “If you’re an actor and refuse to hug actresses during a film, you should step aside, because that’s part of the job.” He emphasized that political leaders, like actors, should not shy away from their responsibilities, particularly when it comes to defending and serving the public who entrusted them with power.
