In his post on X (formerly Twitter), the artist recounted how he managed to evade the criminals, who were operating in the Jabi-Berger area of Lagos State.

According to him, the suspicious vehicle was a black Toyota Corolla with the plate number WAM-178-SH. Describing the occupants, he noted that the driver was fair-skinned, while there was a man seated in the front and a woman with a child in the back.

He recalled the moment he sensed something was wrong, explaining that the people in the car—including the woman—persistently called him back even after he attempted to leave. This behavior raised his suspicion, prompting him to quickly get away.
