Oyedepo: “I Do Not Receive a Salary from Covenant University”

During the 19th Convocation ceremony, where degrees and awards were presented, Oyedepo celebrated the achievements of 1,607 graduating students. Among them, 339 earned first-class honors, 762 received second-class upper degrees, 330 achieved second-class lower degrees, 25 obtained third-class honors, and 151 completed postgraduate programs.

He expressed that seeing Covenant University alumni thrive in various fields like aviation, fashion, banking, and technology has brought him the most satisfaction.

He said, “I declare this before God—I have never taken any salary from Covenant University since its founding. The success stories and breakthroughs of our graduates are what I consider my true reward.”

Oyedepo stressed that his life has always been about making meaningful contributions to society rather than seeking personal gains. He encouraged students to focus on making a positive difference in the world.

“You were made to be a contributor. Find a place where you can make an impact. Being a contributor ensures that you cannot fail; instead, you will be part of the solution, not the problem.” Continue Reading>>>

He also expressed optimism about the future of Nigeria, urging students not to abandon the country. “Your potential is best realized where you are meant to be. Staying aligned with God’s plan is crucial,” he advised.
