Oyo State Partners with Glo to Enhance Urban Mobility with Digital Solutions

The Oyo State Government has joined forces with telecommunications leader Globacom to bring innovative digital solutions to traffic management. He highlighted the importance of this collaboration, stating, “As our cities grow and our economy expands, we need innovative solutions to ensure road safety, efficient traffic flow, and seamless urban mobility.”

Major Adesagba Adekoya (Rtd), Chairman of the Oyo State Road Traffic Management Authority (OYRTMA), commended Globacom for its excellent track record in utilizing technology to address complex issues. “We’re confident that their contribution will be transformative and help us achieve a more efficient traffic management system,” he said.

Adeniyi Odejobi, Globacom’s Enterprise Business Lead for the South West Region, reiterated the company’s commitment to improving the state’s traffic management through digital solutions. “Our partnership will produce a smarter, more efficient OYRTMA workforce, enabling them to connect seamlessly and achieve a smooth traffic management system in the state,” he explained.

The event also marked the official introduction of MoneyMaster PSB, a provider of innovative digital financial products, to OYRTMA’s management and staff, presented by Inusa Bello of Globacom.

This collaboration signals a new era for Oyo State’s traffic management, integrating cutting-edge technology to streamline operations and enhance the overall urban experience.
