Referring to the words of Jesus in the Bible, Pastor Kumuyi drew attention to the destruction that will soon come upon the world. He emphasized that the Great Tribulation will affect all nations, with no part of the earth exempt. “It will come upon the whole wide world,” he declared, citing Luke 21:35, which states that the tribulation will be a global event, impacting everyone on earth, regardless of location or status.

The pastor then emphasized the importance of spiritual preparation, urging believers to heed Jesus’ warning to “take heed to yourselves.” He explained that the heart can easily be overcharged with distractions such as indulgence, drunkenness, and the cares of life, leading people to be caught unawares when the tribulation comes.

Pastor Kumuyi also emphasized the need for constant prayer and vigilance, reminding Christians to pray for readiness. He referred to Luke 21:36, where Jesus advises believers to watch and pray always, so that they may be accounted worthy to escape the tribulation. He stressed that a life grounded in sanctification and holiness is crucial for avoiding the coming destruction.
