If you recall, the former governor of Lagos State, Bola Ahmed Tinubu had announced during his inaugural speech on May 29th at his inauguration ceremony that there will be removal of fuel subsidy in the country.

However, while addressing Nigerians on Monday, the presidential candidate of the All Progressives Congress said that his decision to remove fuel subsidy during his inauguration ceremony on May 29th was to save the country from going under and take the country’s resources away from the stranglehold of a few unpatriotic elements adding that Nigerians should sacrifice more for the survival of the country.

According to the former Lagos State Governor, he said, “I admit that the decision imposed an extra burden on the masses of our people, however, I feel your pain.
