A Chief Magistrate Court in Wuse Zone 6, Federal Capital Territory, Abuja, has ordered the remand of popular social media influencer Reno Omokri over allegations of defamation. The ruling, issued by Chief Magistrate Emmanuel Ayanna, was based on an ex-parte motion filed by the Inspector-General of Police, Kayode Egbetokun, through his lawyer, Francis Gabriel, on January 13, 2025.
