Godswill Obot Akpabio stated on his verified Facebook page on Saturday; “Yesterday, I attended the Nigeria Police Force 2024 Christmas Carols and Nine Lessons, held at the Police Force Resource Centre, Jabi in Abuja. I read the first scripture of the service from the Book of Genesis Chapter 1: 26-31.”

The former Governor of Akwa Ibom State stated further; “Also in attendance were our fathers in the Lord. General Overseer of the Redeemed Christian Church of God, (RCCG) Pastor Enoch Adejare Adeboye and The Emeritus Archbishop of Abuja Catholic Archdiocese, John Cardinal Olorunfemi Onaiyekan.”

He noted; “My brother, the Deputy Speaker, House of Representatives, Benjamin Kalu and my distinguished colleagues, Senators Osita Ngwu and Victor Umeh, among other very important dignitaries were also present.”

The All Progressives Congress chieftain added; “The Theme of the Service was Emmanuel – God with us, delivered by Pastor Adeboye. I wish us all a Merry Christmas and a prosperous Year 2025 in advance.”
