The statement from Pinheiro came after the lead counsel to the Labour Party, Livy Uzoukwu, accused the office of the INEC Chairman, Professor Mahmood Yakubu, of refusing to provide documents even when subpoena had been issued.
While addressing the Presidential Election Petition Tribunal on Wednesday June 14th, Livy Uzoukwu had said – “The office of the INEC Chairman has consistently refused to comply with providing documents even with the subpoena issued, in spite of the efforts of the bailiff.”
