Nyesom Wike who spoke with some journalists in the state capital of Rivers, Portharcourt, opined that some of the members under the labour party were accidentally victorious in the various areas which they contested for.

The former governor who made this statement further inquired how many were able to give money to those who eventually emerged victorious, adding that he doesn’t think it is because of the presidential candidate that those labour party members emerged where they are, as it was purely accidental.

In his words… “Who told you everybody in labour party will support their presidential candidate, who told you that. How many of them gave money to those who emerged in Labour Party, some of them emerged accidentally, so, don’t think it’s because of the presidential candidate” [Continue Reading…]

One will not be wrong to say that the labour party, despite not producing a president, has gotten a governor and some other positions in the national assembly.
