Asiwaju who had said during his campaigns that no matter the protest, his administration will remove fuel subsidies.

The Spokesperson of the Labour Party Obidatti Presidential campaign council, Kenneth Okonkwo has asserted that the speech read by the President was not written by him.

He contended that the speech must have been written by brilliant professors in the APC camp. He stated further that the words of the President did not correlate with his independent utterances.  Continue Full Reading>>>

He said, ”I said during the campaign that I am not moved by anything documented by the APC. Tinubu is surrounded by so many brilliant professors who are doing the work for him.

I want to hear him talk and let’s cross-examine his intentions. A man in his speech said we shall consult and dialogue, and never dictate.

And almost immediately, he issued the first dictate of his regime which is that the fuel subsidy is gone. The statement he made was in May and the Subsidy was to go by June.”
