On Wednesday, President Bola Tinubu announced the addition of seven new ministers to his cabinet. Other notable appointments are Jumoke Oduwole as Minister of Industry, Trade and Investment, Idi Mukhtar Maiha as Minister of Livestock Development, Yusuf Abdullahi Ata as Minister of State for Housing and Urban Development, and Suwaiba Said Ahmad as Minister of State for Education.

On the same day, during the Federal Executive Council (FEC) meeting, President Tinubu removed five ministers from their positions. These include Uju-Ken Ohanenye, the former Minister of Women Affairs; Lola Ade-John, former Minister of Tourism; Tahir Mamman, former Minister of Education; Abdullahi Gwarzo, former Minister of State for Housing and Urban Development; and Jamila Ibrahim, former Minister of Youth Development.
