Sanusi said this at a digital guide launch titled, “Osinbajo Strides: Defining Moments of an Innovative Chief,” on Monday.

The VP was one of the aspirants of the All Progressives Congress presidential primary, who some criticised for contesting against his former boss and the now President-elect, Bola Tinubu, during the party’s presidential primary.

Sanusi, who is also a former Governor of the Central Bank of Nigeria, noted that Osinbajo was one of those in the present administration ready to deliberate on developmental matters.

He said, “And I dare say, we all agree that Nigeria is worse off for not having someone like him (Osinbajo) as president, but I do hope that he will be available to serve and to advise and to put in his best for the country and continue to do.

Don’t Bully Judiciary, Atiku Warns Buhari

Former vice president Atiku Abubakar has observed that a pattern of official bullying of the judiciary has emerged following President Muhammadu Buhari’s comment on the opposition’s election loss followed by that of the Minister of Information and Culture, Lai Mohammed.

In a statement issued on Monday by his Media Adviser, Paul Ibe, the presidential candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in the last election, alleged that the president is playing the role of the chief marketing officer of election robbery orchestrated by the ruling party.

“We have read with disgust the shameful efforts by the Muhammadu Buhari administration in playing the role of chief marketing officer of the electoral heist deliberately orchestrated to keep the ruling All Progressives Congress in power against the wishes of Nigerians.

Reps Plead For Ekweremadu, ECOWAS Writes UK

The House of Representatives has urged the Central Criminal Court of the United Kingdom and the British Government to “temper justice with mercy” in sentencing a former Deputy President of the Senate, Senator Ike Ekweremadu; his wife, Beatrice Ekweremadu; and a UK-based Dr Obinna Obeta.

The House also urged the Federal Government of Nigeria to “take all diplomatic steps and other necessary interventions regarding the travails of the Ekwermadu family.”

The House directed its Clerk, Yahaya Danzaria, to convey the resolutions to the British Government and the court.

Recall that the Central Criminal Court had on March 23, 2023 found the Ekweremadus alongside Obeta guilty of organ trafficking in the UK by criminally conspiring to bring a 21-year-old Lagos street trader to London to harvest his kidney for Sonia Ekweremadu, who has a kidney ailment.
