The call was made through a statement issued on Monday in Awka, Anambra State, by the group’s Deputy National Coordinator for North Central, Alhaji Aawul Mohammed Giri.
According to Giri, Nwajiuba’s dedication to public service and governance makes him a strong candidate for the nation’s highest office.
He emphasized that Nigeria needs Nwajiuba’s leadership to address the shortcomings of the current administration and push the country toward progress.
“As a former Minister of State for Education, Hon. Nwajiuba demonstrated his commitment to the development of Nigeria’s youth and education sector.
“His experience and expertise make him an ideal candidate to tackle the country’s pressing challenges, including issues in the economy, health, education, and infrastructure,” Giri stated.
The group pointed out that their endorsement of Nwajiuba is not a random decision but one based on careful evaluation of his leadership qualities, integrity, and vision for the nation’s development.
“This is not the first time Hon. Nwajiuba has been endorsed for the presidency. In 2023, the Young Nigerian Voices also advocated for a president from the South East, with Hon. Nwajiuba as their preferred candidate,” the statement noted.
They further expressed confidence in his potential to unite the country, transform the economy, and build a better future for Nigerians.
“Will Hon. Nwajiuba heed the call and throw his hat into the ring? Only time will tell. However, one thing is certain: Young Nigerian Voices’ endorsement has reignited discussions around his potential candidacy, and Nigerians will be watching closely,” the statement concluded.
