According to a post on the official X handle of Ahmed Tijani Mustapha, the Senate President’s Media Aide noted that the days when the passing of bills took a very long time are far behind us.

He urged Nigerians to allow the Senate to evolve with time, just like the legislative institutions of other countries.

Mr. Ahmed Tijani Mustapha had written, “The crime of @Senator_Akpabio and other members of the 10th Senate is that the tax reform bill did not take 10 years to pass.

Let me be clear, the days of bill paaasge taking 10-15yeqrs are behind us. We need to catch up with the rest of the world and we need to do so now!!”
