A statement issued by the CSC’s Information Officer, Saleh Umar on Thursday revealed that the security guard, Sanusi Ibrahim (Head of Security) was relieved of his duties following serious violations of the Public Service Regulations 0327 (a) (i) – (xxix).
The information officer stated that after a comprehensive investigation, Sanusi Ibrahim was found guilty and admitted to his wrongdoing before the relevant committee in the Office of the Head of Civil Service.
Consequently, the Commission upheld the decision to terminate his appointment during its meeting on February 6, 2024, chaired by Alh. Abubakar Usman.
Also at the same meeting, the Commission considered one promotion case, one change of name request, and conducted interviews for 21 senior officers, recommending them for appointment as Directors in the State Civil Service.
Ibrahim’s dismissal is not the first of its kind as the CSC had previously sacked two civil servants in August 2023 for financial fraud.
Additionally, the Commission terminated the appointment of Ibrahim Garba, who was affiliated with the state pension board, for a similar offense.
