Benue Caucus Lauds SGF Akume and Minister Utsev for Meeting Tinubu’s and Nigerians’ Expectations

Spokesperson Hon. Philip Agbese highlighted the recent cabinet reshuffle, noting that the retention of both Akume and Utsev reflects President Tinubu’s confidence in their leadership. Agbese praised Senator Akume for reforming the SGF’s office by reducing bureaucratic hurdles, improving service delivery, and enhancing coordination between government agencies. Under Akume’s leadership, he said, transparency in procurement and financial management has also improved.
In addition, the caucus lauded Professor Utsev’s efforts in addressing water scarcity and advancing sustainable water management. They credited Utsev with launching key initiatives to improve access to clean water and sanitation, particularly in rural areas, and for promoting innovative solutions in water resource management.
