It would be recalled that the Independent National Electoral Commission declared Asiwaju Tinubu, the presidential candidate of All Progressive Congress as the winner of the poll that was conducted on February 25th.

However, Chieftain of the All Progressive Congress in Ekiti state, Prince Akintade Olayisade while commenting on the conduct of the elections, said he does not like the voting pattern of the Igbos in the South East.

Speaking to Sun Newspaper in an exclusive interview, Olayisade said Igbo people played an ethnic card in the polls. According to him, they forgot how Asiwaju Tinubu welcomed them in Lagos State to the point that they are saying the state is no man’s land.

He stated that it can never happen in the South East where Yorubas will be given free hand to live and do business.

“We are supposed to be their friends in all ramifications. So, Asiwaju Tinubu even cuddled them and we say may be liberalism taken too far, to the point that they are claiming that Lagos is no man’s land.
