In the just-concluded presidential election where Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu was announced the winner after polling over 8.9 million votes, Atiku Abubakar of the People’s Democratic Party came first runners surpassing Peter Obi who emerged third with over 6 million votes.

The sad outcome of the presidential election took many aspirants by surprise and are currently in the petition tribunals with different prayers seeking to nullify the victory of the President-elect. 

although the outcome of the election should have been different if the opposition didn’t divide into three namely Labour Party, the People’s Democratic Party, and the New Nigeria People’s Party.

The total sum of their votes is over fifteen million, almost twice the vote the All Progressive Congress polled to emerge the winner.
