Ibrahim Abdullahi, the Acting National Publicity Secretary of the PDP, claimed that Peter Obi, former presidential candidate of the Labour Party, left the PDP just as he was about to face suspension under the leadership of the Iyorchia Ayu-led National Working Committee (NWC). countinue Reading>>>

He pointed out the differences between the current NWC and the previous one, led by Ayu, which was marked by numerous suspensions. Abdullahi expressed confidence in the current direction of the PDP under the leadership of Ambassador Umar Damagum, noting that despite the challenges typical of political parties, Damagum has fostered unity and stability.

During an interview with Arise TV, Abdullahi said, “Ambassador Umar Damagum’s position wasn’t a result of an appointment; it came through lawful procedures. There are no disruptors or hidden agendas at this level that could create the impression of division or discontent within the party.
