However, the recent inauguration of a new Senate president suggests that the Igbo ethnic group may be facing a curse.

The Primate further emphasized his views by stating that if individuals like Tinubu could triumph over Peter Obi and Akpabio could defeat Kalu, it is unlikely that an Igbo person would become the President of Nigeria. He believes that the lack of political relevance among the Igbo community contributes to this situation.

In addition, Primate Ayodele expressed his skepticism regarding Peter Obi’s chances of winning the ongoing presidential case in court, unless there is divine intervention. He sees this as another factor that has marginalized the Igbo people within the Nigerian political landscape.
