He called on them to unite and work towards the betterment of the party, emphasizing the need for reconciliation and a fresh start.”With the court’s decision now in place, I offer my forgiveness to those who tried to damage our party’s reputation and my character through slander and blackmail,” Abure said in a public statement.

He cited his Christian faith, saying, “I forgive them, for they knew not what they were doing. But forgiveness requires repentance and making amends.”Abure stressed that the Labour Party could only recover if those who caused the turmoil recognized their wrongdoings and sought to repair the damage.
