In a recent video posted on Symfoni TV, Dr. Peter Odili, former governor of Rivers State, heaped praise on the current governor, Siminalayi Fubara, commending his resilience in navigating significant challenges and his commitment to effective governance. He applauded Fubara’s ability to overcome these hurdles while steadfastly upholding the oath of office. Odili noted that the governor’s efforts have translated into impactful projects that continue to benefit the people of Rivers State.

“Irrepressible” was the term Odili used to describe Fubara, emphasizing his ability to overcome “more existential challenges than any governor in Nigeria.” The former governor acknowledged Fubara’s focus on delivering good governance despite the complexities of leadership. 

Odili also expressed gratitude on behalf of Pamo University, acknowledging the governor’s acceptance to become an alumnus of the institution. He noted that Fubara’s support for the university further demonstrates his dedication to the development of education and social welfare in the state.

“The people’s welfare is always at the heart of your policies, and your administration’s projects are a testament to that focus,” Odili added.

In his message, Odili conveyed a deep appreciation for Fubara’s achievements, underscoring the significance of his leadership in ensuring the well-being of the people of Rivers State.
