Prince Arthur Eze to Babangida: “You Made Me What I Am Today”

Eze, whose relationship with Babangida dates back to 1979, praised the retired general’s guidance and influence, acknowledging how Babangida introduced him to key figures, including Nigeria’s military governors.
Recognizing Babangida’s ability to maintain positive relationships even in challenging times, Eze recalled how the former leader navigated conflicts, including those with General Sani Abacha, while remaining a peacemaker.
As a gesture of appreciation, Eze announced a historic donation of 500 million naira in Babangida’s honor, marking the first time he had made such a contribution for the former military ruler.
