In his post, Sani pointed out that it has been 17 years since Obasanjo left office, highlighting that many young Nigerians today have limited firsthand knowledge of his tenure.
“It’s 17 years since Obj left office, people who are 32 years now were 15 years in 2007; they have very little experience or knowledge of things that happened during his tenure,” Sani wrote.
His statement suggests a reflection on how time has shaped public perception of past leaders, especially among younger generations who may not have fully experienced Obasanjo’s administration.
