CONTINUE READING >>>>...CONTINUE READING>>>In his statement, Adeniyi said, “We are seeing tendencies to probably blackmail the Judiciary; and it is becoming very, very confusing really, and you will want to even sympathize with the justices because the template that is being set now is that wherever they go, there would still be a problem; whichever side they belong to, there would still be a problem.” Adeniyi discussed the fallout from the February 25, 2023, Presidential election and the role of the judiciary in the case during an appearance on Arise Television. As he revealed that there might be plans to blackmail the judicial branch of government, he implied that it is possible that justices would find it difficult to support either of the parties at the Tribunal. He characterized the situation as perplexing and showed compassion to the judiciary.
