He underscored that the electoral act guarantees that candidates will emerge based on merit, irrespective of any internal conflicts, and expressed confidence that the electorate will support candidates capable of steering the nation away from stagnation.

Jada dismissed claims that Damagum’s conduct would derail the PDP’s prospects, labeling it instead as an unintended “elixir” for the party. “Nigerians are tired of the artificial hardship and hunger imposed by the APC, and the party’s victory is simply a matter of time.”
The conversation also shifted to the internal dynamics of the PDP and the tension surrounding the candidacy of former Vice President Atiku Abubakar. While acknowledging Atiku’s previous candidacies, Jada asserted it is vital for him to continue pursuing his ambitions, stating, “Atiku has demonstrated tremendous faith in democratic processes.” He called for unity among party members, regardless of who ultimately secures the nomination.
