Tinubu won the election ahead of other major contenders of the Peoples Democratic Party candidate, Atiku Abubakar; the Labour Party candidate, Peter Obi; and the New Nigeria Peoples Party candidate, Rabiu Kwankwaso. The three leading presidential candidates won in 12 states each while Kwankwaso claimed only Kano State.
However, in a video which is currently trending online, the moment Nigerians in diaspora protested at the Nigeria Embassy in United Kingdom (UK) has surfaces online. In the video, the Nigerians gathered at the entrance of the Nigeria Embassy in the UK to voice out their displeasure with the election results that got Bola Tinubu to emerge as the winner.
As their show their displeasure, they all heard chanting that the INEC chairman declared Peter Obi, the Labour Party presidential candidate the winner of the election. They kept on saying, “give Us Obi, give us Obi, give us Obi”, repeatedly.
