The Rivers state governor, Nyesom Wike has revealed that during the last meeting that the G-5 governors had before the presidential election, they all agreed that anywhere the Labour Party presidential candidate, Peter Obi wins, the presidential candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Bola Tinubu must surely become the runner up.

Governor Wike who spoke while commissioning Igwuruta internal roads in the Ikwerre Local Government Area (LGA) of Rivers state which was monitored by TVC News disclosed that their desire and aim was to make sure that the power of the presidency return to the south no matter the presidential candidate…..Continue Reading

He also added that he is proud of the agreement and the outcome of the presidential election since it happened the same way they planned it and no one dares tell him that he betrayed Peter Obi during the election because all he wanted was a southern presidency.

He said, “So when we are talking about betrayal, I betrayed who? Who is that politician that is a Christian that would come and look into my eyes and tell me that rubbish. Peter Obi cannot even look into my eyes and tell me I betrayed him, I never campaigned against Peter Obi, I never did that, so there is no how he would do me anything. Wetin he go do me? Within the G-5 integrity group, we agreed that we must make sure that the power comes to the south and in any state where you have control, you must make sure that if Labour Party (Peter Obi) comes first, APC (Tinubu) must come second and if APC (Tinubu) comes first, Labour Party (Peter Obi) must be second and we did it. I’m proud to say it”.
