LA LIGA: Bad News For Real Madrid Despite 2-1 Win Over Barcelona

Real Madrid won the Clasico against Barcelona on Saturday night and they did so without either of their first-choice centre-backs Sergio Ramos and Raphael Varane, with Nacho and Eder Militao both deputising and both doing well.

Los Blancos took all three points in the game with goals from Karim Benzema and Toni Kroos.

Zinedine Zidane side are top of the Spanish La Liga table at the moment with Atletico Madrid yet to play their game this weekend.

Despite the win, Real Madrid received a number of bad news after the game with two players injured and two players suspended for their next game in La Liga.

Both Fede Valverde and Lucas Vazquez were substituted in the game after they got injured with Nacho Fernandez and Casemiro both suspended for Real Madrid’s next La Liga games.

Valverde left the pitch limping while Vazquez to left earlier than he would’ve liked. After a challenge from Sergio Busquets, the right-back was substituted in the 41st minute.

This will come as a bad news for Zidane as he currently have a number of injuries already in the club and few players to chose from.

Real Madrid face Liverpool in their next game in UEFA Champions League with the hopes of having Vazquez and Valverde back before the game.
