Manchester United Seals Major Transfer as Fabrizio Romano Declares “Deal On”
Marcus Rashford’s potential exit from Manchester United has gained traction after being left out of the squad for the Manchester derby, a decision manager Ruben Amorim reportedly made due to concerns about his recent performances. ...CONTINUE READING>>>
Following this exclusion, Rashford stated his openness to “new challenges,” fueling speculation about his departure.
AC Milan have emerged as front-runners to secure the services of the 27-year-old forward, edging past Borussia Dortmund and facing competition from Juventus and interest from the Saudi Pro League. Rashford has made it clear that he wishes to remain in Europe’s top five leagues.
Renowned transfer expert Fabrizio Romano has confirmed that AC Milan are exploring a deal. “Marcus’ brother is in Italy, ready for face-to-face talks with Milan, who are keen on understanding the terms of the deal,” Romano reported. “While talks are not yet at an advanced stage, Milan see Rashford as a key target to strengthen their attack.”
A sticking point in negotiations remains Rashford’s salary. Milan are hesitant to cover his full wages but are open to including a potential buy option. Talks between all parties are expected in the coming weeks as Milan work to align both United’s and Rashford’s expectations.
Despite Milan’s progress, Romano highlights the possibility of Rashford staying at Old Trafford. “There is still a chance for Rashford to remain with United. His relationship with Amorim is strained but not irreparable,” he wrote. Amorim’s dissatisfaction with Rashford’s recent training sessions has reportedly been a factor in his exclusion, apart from missing the Liverpool match due to illness.
As uncertainty surrounds his future, Rashford did not train on Thursday due to the illness persisting from the Liverpool clash. While a departure this January remains possible, Manchester United may yet retain the England international, provided issues with form and consistency are resolved.
The coming weeks will be pivotal as Rashford and United decide the next chapter in his career, with AC Milan pushing to bring the forward to Serie A.
